China Embassy in Nigeria Visa Requirements

A visa is the first and most important form of document you will need to enter into China as a Nigerian. There are various types of visas you will need to enter China and the one you go for is determined by the purpose of visiting China. There is the study visa, tourist visa, business visa and transit visa. You need to first determine why you are going to China and this can help in selecting the right kind of visa to go for.

When visiting the China embassy for your visa, you need to go along with all the documents needed for visa application and you are required to appear at the Chinese embassy closest to you in person. You equally must note that China is not offering full term visa to people as at the present. This may be due to the population situation that is presently prevailing in China.

When visiting the Chinese embassy for visa interview, make sure that all the documents you take along with you are original. Make sure also that these documents are not fake. While filling the visa application form, make sure that the information you make available on the application form is true. You will be found out if you ever attempt to provide any untrue information when you are filling the form.

Things you must include:

  • Make a list of all the documents you are submitting for the visa application and include it with the other documents being provided.
  • Letter from the person you are visiting in China, either for business or tourism or study.
  • Your passport photograph preferably having white background
  • Your bank account statement too must be included and it should contain 6 months recent data.
  • Ticket of hotel booking
  • Return ticket to Nigeria after your stay in China
  • Your ID card
  • Your properly filled visa application form.
  • Notification form for visa sent to you by the Chinese embassy
  • Admission letter by the school provided you are only going to China to study as a student.
  • Evidence of physical and medical examination in case you are going to be staying in China for any time period extending beyond 12 months.
