National Open University of Nigeria Application form

The National Open University of Nigeria application form is on sale presently for 2016/2017 session. Any candidate that wishes to register should do so without delay. Application is open at the institution to all Nigerian citizens.

The NOUN Application forms are sold for all levels of studies too and in all departments. Registration is to be done online and the form should be filled properly as required.

Application form costs N5,000 for undergraduate studies, N7,500 for postgraduate studies and N10,000 for Doctor of Philosophy programs. After making payment, aspiring students should take teller of payment to any available NOUN TELLER where they will be given application pin code.

The student can then log on to www.noun.edu.ng to complete the registration process. The aspiring student can fill the application form online. All required information should be provided accurately during registration. No closing date has been announced yet by the school authority.

National Open University of Nigeria Study centers

Study centers are located at each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory. The head office is however located at National Open University of Nigeria, 14/16 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria.

  • Study Centers in the south eastern part of Nigeria are located at Delta state, Asaba , Anambra, Enugu, Umudike and Owerri
  • Lagos study centers are located at Ikeja, Victoria island and Apapa,
  • North eastern study centers are located at Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Taraba, Borno and Adamawa
  • North west zone study centers are located at Kano, Kawo in Kaduna State, Kaduna city, Sokoto, Dutse, and Katsina.
  • Study Centers in the north central part of Nigeria are located at Jos, Ilorin, Sobi Cantonment in Ilorin, Lafia, Wuse in Abuja, Minna, Makurdi, Lokoja and Jigawa.
  • Study centers in the south southern part of Nigeria are located at Calabar, Port Harcourt, Benin, Yenagoa and Uyo,

National Open University of Nigeria Admission Requirement

Any individual registering at National Open University of Nigeria must be a Nigerian. In addition, the individual must have sat for and passed SSCE/GCE/O’Level/NECO/NABTEB examination. Minimum of 5 credits is required.

Students can also present Teachers Grade II certificate and have five merits minimum.

Students seeking for admission into 200 Level must have National Diploma from recognized institution in Nigeria.

The student can also present Nigerian certificate of Education in relevant subjects.

Also, International Baccalaureates Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) result is acceptable, but the student must have minimum of two A level papers and they must be in relevant subjects.

Students seeking admission for master’s degree must have first degree from recognized university in relevant field.

The student can also present postgraduate diploma certificate in relevant field.

HND holders with upper credit can also apply for master’s degree program at NOUN.

  1. I am 52 years of age, and I’ve worked for 38 years since finishing my secondary school in 1979. I have olevel with a pass in English and a pass in health science, A1 in economics, A3 in government, c4 in commerce, c6 in Bible knowledge and f in mathematics. Please does this result give me a chance to further my education.

    • Yes my Brother ur result will give u Admission in to NOUN University by God grace. But u most provided ur deficiencies before u graduate. (ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS).
